Actually, yes. This is my story. I was aware of my pregnancy. There are every symptom and indicator imaginable. My three home tests were all negative. I underwent a blood test. Also unfavorable. It wasn’t until the next week that I had a positive pee or blood test. I explained it away by having PCOS. The hook phenomenon is another thing, though. When your body produces so much hormone that it cannot connect to the particles in your blood or urine, resulting in a negative test.

Hey, I’ve had 4 kids, and I never had a positive pregnancy test before 9 weeks. I’ve used first response clear blue normal and digital tests, but I can never obtain a BFP before 9 weeks. All symptoms, including exhaustion and feeling ill, start earlier. I have light cramping the entire time I’m pregnant because of HG. I’m curious about how many other pregnant women wait till 9 weeks to test positive.

It is possible to still be pregnant even when your HCG levels are lower. This is why doctors advise having the test done in the morning when your HCG levels are higher. I performed a test for two months; it was negative. I then went in for a blood test; it was also negative. Then I requested an ultrasound, and it revealed that I was two months pregnant. If it’s any use,

No, normally is the short response. There have been cases where a person became pregnant despite having very low HCG levels, breakthrough bleeding every month around the time that they would have cycled, and negative results with OTC pregnancy tests. But typically, a blood test would detect any HCG, and if any were detected, they would check for pregnancy.

It is quite unlikely that blood testing (I assume bHCG was done) would come back negative at 8 weeks of a healthy pregnancy. Another intriguing test would be progesterone; a low value would make continuing pregnancy much less likely.
Of fact, unless sexual contact was properly timed or we’re talking about assisted conception, it is rarely absolutely possible to identify the timing of conception.
Patients regularly claimed to be eight weeks pregnant while ultrasound results and blood tests indicated they were more likely in the fourth week of pregnancy.
When I delved deeper into the patients, it turned out that they ALSO had unprotected sexual activity a month after they thought they had given birth. Therefore conception probably only happened one cycle later than imagined.

All of my pregnancies were negative, and all of my blood tests came back negative when I was pregnant with my one and only child. Some people don’t make enough hormones to be able to achieve a positive result as I did.
Now, a few years prior to becoming pregnant, I get a PCOS diagnosis and had a 10 cm cyst on my ovary that ruptured, so my doctor wanted to send me for a scan to see if it was my cyst.
However, he was adamant that I wasn’t pregnant, so I went for my scan almost 3 months later and still received a negative test and blood tests.
However, when I had my scan, a baby is comfortably sitting in my belly. Ask them to send you for a scan if you really think you could be pregnant so you can be sure, as blood and urine tests sometimes don’t show anything at all.
