Newborn babies sleep from 11 to 16 hours a day, at all hours of the day and night. Your baby’s sleep patterns may be unpredictable for a while, and there’s no need to put them on a sleep schedule just yet, though there are some things you can do to encourage good sleep habits. As the parent of a newborn, you’ve probably never been more exhausted than you are right now.
